Partnership with the All Saints Fund

The Novo-Tikhvin Monastery and the All Saints Charity Fund have been in partnership for several years already. The Fund’s major objective is to help Orthodox churches and monasteries; Archbishop of Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye gave his blessing to the Fund. The Fund has comissioned the Monastery to paint icons more than once.

The icon of Righteous Simeon on the saint mountain of Athos

The Fund comissioned the Monastery an icon of Saint Healing Great Martyr Panteleimon - the heavenly guardian of all the doctors and all the ill. The icon is to be placed to the Church of Saint Healing Panteleimon in Ekaterinburg. The icon of Spiridon of Trimifunt decorated with the semi-precious stones of the Urals has been donated to an orthodox chruch in Greece.In the end of 2002 the icon was delivered to Greece, to the church where hundreds of pilgrims worship the relics of Saint Spiridon. The icon of St. Nicolas the Wonder-Worker and the icon of Saint Seraphim of Sarov executed by the nuns of the Monastery have been donated to the church in of the town of Bari, Italy. Not long ago the icon of Simeon of Verkhoturye performed by the nuns has been brought to the saint mountian of Athos, Greece.

The partnership of the Monastery and the Charity Fund will go on. Presently we are working on a new comission- the icon of Saint Martyr Great Princess Elizabeth for the Church of Saint Trinity in the town of Alapaevsk.
