Merkushino -- the pearl of the Urals

There are places that are ever-beautiful: at dawn and at dusk; summer or winter time; clear day or snowstorm... One of those places is the Merkushino village, the holy ground of St. Simeon that is often called the pearl of the Urals. The metochion of our monastery in Merkushino gladly welcomes the pilgrims; one can visit with family or with an organized pilgrimage group.
